Government Projects

The Government of Sint Maarten is working hard to get innovated at all levels. The new F&A building is one of them. Liccom developed and constructed this new facility which brings the Fire and Ambulance department together again after many years.

 

This new building facilitates offices, bedrooms, 7 in house parking places for the Fire department and 4 in house parking places for the Ambulance department, 1 maintenance garage, hurricane center, conference room, living room & kitchen for personnel all under one roof. The new building will be a 24 hour high tech operation for the people of Sint Maarten and their guests.

 

We wish both departments good luck in their new environment.

The Government of Sint Maarten is working hard to realize affordable housing for its people.

 

One of the examples is the housing project recently occupied by its new tenants. 70 apartments consisting out of 1 and 2 bedroom units is located at Hope Estate.

 

At the same location the government started a follow up project consisting out of 24 3 bedroom units.

 

The new realized units will be managed by the Sint Maarten Housing Foundation.
